Why study this course

Certified in Cybersecurity℠ (CC) will prove to employers you have the foundational knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for an entry- or junior-level cybersecurity role. It will signal your understanding of fundamental security best practices, policies and procedures, as well as your willingness and ability to learn more and grow on the job.

(ISC)² developed the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credential for newcomers to the field, to recognise the growing trend of people entering the cybersecurity workforce without direct IT experience.

The CC training includes:

  • 8 hours of live instruction

  • 6 hours of self-paced content in preparation of workshop sessions

  • 180 days access to digital courseware

  • Peer discussions

  • Post-course assessments

  • Knowledge checks and end-of-chapter quizzes

  • Exam voucher

This course can be delivered as a one-day workshop or as an evening workshop. The evening workshop runs over four weeknight sessions over a two week period; each session is approximately 2.5 hours long. Please contact us for more details.

IMPORTANT: Students will be supplied digital courseware a week prior to the training workshop which will give you access to downloadable chapter resources for review prior to attending. It is strongly recommended you review these prior to attending the class and note down any questions you may have; then bring them to the training workshop so you can take notes and ask questions.
